I love the Bergman family! It was so great to see how my favorite couples again (I can't choose who I like better as a couple!)
This book had some tough trigger warnings for me (you're warned about these before you start the book). I think they were handled really well!
The novel handles the trope (if you can call it that bc their are so few books with this subject matter) of marriage-in-crisis. I found the actual crisis time period of the book to be really stressful. I knew it will end in a HEA, but I was really stressed! It took me a while to get through the first half of the book because of this. I honestly think it has more to do with me and the time period of the world, more than the book.
I also got to learn more about the Bergman family in this novel. It all just made me more excited for all of the siblings books! Also, should we all ask the author for a book featuring the love story of the Bergman parents??
This was book 3 in the Bergman Brothers series, but with this being the sister’s novel - perhaps I should start referring to it as the Bergman Family series!
Overall this one ranked between a 3.75-4 ⭐!
