This is book two in the Good Folk series. (Which is a spin off of the Winston Brothers Series…on my required reading list for romance lovers…)

This book is about Hank and single mom, Charlotte. It was honestly a pretty slow read. I thought about DNFing it because I was fairly certain it would end up with a flat 3 stars or lower. It just slowly chugged along. PR has written nuerodivergent characters before and I thought that Hank would also be along those lines as I was reading, but that wasn’t the case.

Single parent romances really aren’t my thing at all- so even with this ranking a flat 3 stars, it might be my highest rating for a single parent romance. Overall, it’s nice to spend time in Green Valley with the Winston’s (even if they’re in a few scenes in the background), but I would try to get this from the library rather than buy it.
