I love the holiday season. I am easily as much or more obsessed with the holidays than the heroine in this novel. So of course I love to get my holiday hands on any festive read of the season!

Pros: a festive read that features lots of holiday to-dos in NYC. It’s fun to go on that ride with the characters and see a bunch of holiday activities. It features the “there’s only one bed” trope (which is the BEST!)

Cons: The hero SAYS he’s best friends with the heroines brother, but it doesn’t really feel like that. The heroine is a doormat. She doesn’t stand up for herself and that gets really really old. The climax of the novel was brutal. I was rolling my eyes a lot. And the entirety of the novel ends with a grand gesture.

Suffice to say- this one wasn’t for me.
