stranger than fiction (unlucky in love #1) by piper sheldon

This book is free on Kindle Unlimited so I thought I would give it a shot. And I’m really glad I did!

What I Liked:
I LOVED reading the back and forth emails between the two main characters. Epistolary romance? uhmmmm yes please.
The main hero- and the two future books mains- is part of basically like Harry Potter level childhood stardom. I thought that was really fun to read about!
I liked the heros life, living in an old vicarriage in England.

Of note:
The heroine is a fanfic writer-which I know some people love reading about and some people hate it completely (I’m looking at you, Rainbow Rowell fans)
The hero is a recovering addict/alcoholic and that is a main storyline

What I didn’t like:
Most of the book had a whole portion about keeping a secret. When that secret was finally revealed… I wasn’t totally happy with the reveal.
